Jardin d' Jour by Needlemania

after the first rotation of 10 hours (it was a WIP from last year, you can see where I started in previous post).  Not too bad if I may say so myself :).

Now back to Iris Fairy, then this one again, and then I will add my Pirate Queen to the rotation.  I will continue that way, adding one after each completed rotation, until I feek like enough are added.  As I finish one I will replace that one with another similar project.  Hope this works..

Progress

Ended this rotation on Iris Fairy and she now has at least one leg
now I am going to work 10 hours on Needlemania Jardin d' Jour.  This one has been in my WIP for awhile.  I have almost a quarter of it done.  I am going to put 10 hours in on it and then go back to Iris.  Then back to Jardin and then add a project and through the cycle adding one each time, until I feel that it it enough.  I am going to try to mix my rotation up with many different types of stitching since I like all kinds.
So anyway here is where I currently am on Jardin d'Jour.

Time to Start a Rotation

I think I am about ready to start a new rotation.  I have been doing one at a time and now have found I am slowing down even more on my stitching.  I think I am getting my stitchers lull on the one I am stitching even though I love it and can't wait to see it finished. (gosh, I have a short attention span).  So I think I am going to do my 10 hour rotation again and use the following designs in it.  Some of these have been started or are (dare I say it (UFOs)).

Iris Fairy by Joan Elliott
Egyptian Mandela by Chatelaine
Pirate Queen - Dark Side of the Moon
Eclipse - Fire Wing
Casting A Spell - Blackbird Design
Pansy - Nora Corbett
Knitting Cat - Filagram
Jardin d' Jour by Inkworks
Fairy of Dreams by Mirabilia
Rede by Sisterhood

I thought I would work on these first, some are gifts so working them in the rotation.  Not necessarily in the order shown.  Well now I need to make sure I have all the extras I need, I think I do.  So i start today.

A Little Bit of Our Gallery

My Sister and I have been Stitching for about 30 years each.  This is a little bit of our Gallery, this is just what is in our living area.  I am afraid we frame our own.  I would love to have everything professionally framed but it is not in the budget.  This is by no means anywhere near all the stitching after all those years, but we don't have enough walls, lol..

August 18, 2012

Well after 16 1/2 years, today I was sorta retired from being a daycare provider. In january they fugured out I had some sorta severe sleep apnea, fibromyalgia and I'll be darned all that hand trembling, word forgetting, stuttering and sometimes shuffling turned out to be Parkinson's. Well it took Ss awhile but they decided to put me out to disability pasture. The medications are starting to give me periods of shake relief though and definitely help the thought processes and walk a lot. Still tired a lot but i actually think i may be able to do some stitching again. All i do for daycare now is put kids on buses in the am and fill in on days school maybe closed and only older children. So Here is here is to the hope I am able to post more often.

The design is stitched on Polstitches Wisteria.  I see a fabric pattern evolving.  Yes I am now totally hooked on her fabric.  I can't help me self I am addicted, help me, no wait don't help me...lol..\
I know not much, but at least something.
Happy 4th everyone.

Sorry Been Away Awhile

Had to Break in some new medications, oh joy, with that brought new complications, lol.  But I seem to be moving back to square one again.  So I have tried to get back to stitching.

Here is where I am on my Joan Elliott Iris Fairy.  I have a tendency to be kinda slow and easily distracted these days but I did get some stitching done.
Hopefully I can get a little more focused this week.

Thanks for looking.  I have now finished a Passione Ricamo and a Mirabilia.  I want to finish a Joan Elliott, a Dark side of the Moon and a Fire Wing.  Hmmm, decisions.

Tigerlily 4/1/12

I had a long weekend and was able to stitch.  I am learning how to stitch between shakey periods.  I've learned how the medications take hold and how long it takes them to be effective and how long it lasts.  I work during good times and lay off during bad so it isn't frustrating and I can get more done.  Sometimes I need help threading needles since the shake never goes away completely but during good times I can concentrate for a little longer time when them meds kick in.  When they aren't it is like having  ADD, lol.  So enough whinning basically I am getting a handle on it.  And here is what I accomplished.

Going to change charts now and do another in rotation.  Either the Fire Wing Eclipse or the Jardin D'Jour I started last year by Needlemania.

Have a Great Week.

Fire Wing Eclipse - Dragon

Well I got some more of the Fire Wing Eclipse Dragon on 28ct Polstitches Rustic Rubarb.  The first dragon is finally finished only 7 more dragons to go lol.  I am so much slower it gets frustrating  but i feel like I am seeing forward movement and am accomplishing something.  So here is where i am now.
I really like this design.

A New Start

Hi Everyone,

Okay I am a lot slower stitching now and have to stitch when the medications keep my hands from shaking and I have an attention span for more than 2 minutes.  Sinemet is working fairly well but we are still working on it.

So I have started Eclipse from Fire Wing Designs.  It is stitched on Polstitches 28ct Rhubarb.  I am afraid this is 4 days work, not much but at least I am stitching again.  Good Days and Bad Days, so hopefully I will be able to stitch some each day, but don't expect huge progress.  When I finish the first dragon I will go back to Tiger lily.

I will keep in touch.

February 11, 2012

Hello Everyone

Just wanted to touch base with everyone.  I know it has been very quiet here.

I am dealing with some new health issues and haven't had much of a chance to stitch or spend a lot of time on the computer.  I recently found out I have Parkinson's Disease and Fibromyalgia.  So I am working on figuring out what works for me.  I hope to be able to do some stitching again in the near future.

Thank you all for following me and I will try to get back soon...

Hugs to all of you.
