A Mini stitching slump

had soo much other stuff to get finished had to bypass stitching for a little bit. But I am ready to get to work. My Harvest time exchange is getting finishing touches and is ready to go. I have two small rrs to get done and I have picked out the LHN for the specific designer exchange!! My F&S piece is taking forever to get to the recipient I hope it isn't lost in the mail :(.. Hopefully I will soon have some things I can post pictures of, until then here is a picture of our burning bush, that came out beautifully this year..

This weekend's finish

was a fair and square set of pieces. I thought that this design respresented our home the best since peonies are practically a state flower here, I think almost everyone has some in their yard, LOL.

USEBB Halloween Exchange for Melissa

I stitched the Drawn Thread "Boo" Scissor Pocket on 32ct Silkweaver Solo Linen...Instead of making it into a purse I added beads all around the side and just made a scissor pocket. I put her initials and the year on the back. I always wanted to stitch this design. It was lots of fun!

CSRR Countries Round Robin

I mailed out Janien's RR Saturday. We were to do something from our country. The count was 40x40 and I had a hard time finding what I wanted. The US is short on castles, as others had done. So I figured a lighthouse would be the next best thing, LOL. So here it is..

USEBB Autumn Quaker from Becky K

She did such a fantastic job. I love the cushion and fob. Check out the personalization on the back, the year and my and her initials!!! Too Coo!! They are my favorite bird a blackbird!!! She also sent some wonderful tea I have never tried, a chart (Peacock Cypher from JN), some floss and a tin of altoids. I was so excited to receive this packaged it really made my Saturday.

Here are the Autumn Quaker pieces I sent to Becky. They are stitched on 32 and 36ct linen with Carries Creation Autumn Leaves and CC Chestnut Brown. I made a pinkeep and a biscornu and put her initials and the year on them.. I forgot to take a picture of the back fabric, but it is an autumn type fabric..

To be honest the pictures on Becky's blog are much better, LOL... I am glad she liked it!!

Stitching Away

I finished stitching on one of my countries RR for Janien. I am going to mail it this weekend. Monday I mailed out my USEBB Autumn quaker to my partner. I am not as happy with part of it as I could be, but that may just be me. I am working on one of my Halloween Exchanges I hope to have out by the weekend!! I will try to get a picture of the RR by the weekend!!!
