Eclipse - Fire Wing

This rotation was all about dragons, well and eclipses.  It was Fire Wings Eclipse.  Stitched on 28ct Rustic Rhubarb from Polstitches.  I am going to finish it this year.

Now back to Ms. Bluebell.

Bluebell 2nd Rotation 1.25.13

I ran out of Kreinik 1432 so did not get the wing finished on Bluebell this round.  I have some ordered in so hopefully the next round she will have a finished wing :).

The Wings are beautiful but working with all that metallic thread is a pain you know where.  So my next project in rotation will be Fire Wing Eclipse.

Pirate Queen

Here is Pirate Queen by Dark Side of the Moon after her rotation.  She is stitched on 28ct Polstitches Big Bang Jobelan.  Now I go back to Nora Corbett's Bluebell.

2nd Rotation on Bluebell

So here is the second 10 hours on Bluebell.  I like to bead as I go, I just can't face all that beading at the end, I would probably never finished if I did that.

Next ten hour rotation is Pirate Queen by Dark Side of the Moon..

Jardin d'jour WIP

I got a little work done on my Jardin d'Jour from Needlemania.  It is stitched on a fabric by Dyeing4U which unfortunately is no longer around.

It is approximately 1/2 done.

Now it is back to Bluebell.

Nora Corbett Bluebell

This is my first weekend on Bluebell.  She is stitched on Polstitches Snowstorm 28ct evenweave.  It isn't as dark as it appears in this picture.

WIPs I Hope to Finish This year

I am in a group that plan to work on WIPs that have been sitting around this year.  This are not all seriously old ones but ones I do really want to finish.  I will sandwich them in with new ones I want to do and try to finish all of these this year.  Here is where I am on them now.

There are more WIPS in my life but these are the ones I want to get done the most.  So I have some new ones I want to start and I will be working in rotation but these will be added in to finish this year.  I will have some pictures of Bluebell by Mirabilia for tomorrows blog post, I didn't get much done on her the last two day.s

A New Year - A New Start

Okay, so I fell off the edge of the world toward the end of the year.  I got little done and a lot of nothing accomplished, just mostly feeling sorry for myself I guess.  Anyway, I am ready to go.

There is going to be a new baby arriving in the family in March, I will be a great aunt again for the 9th time.  I crocheted a little swaddler bag and hat for her this weekend.  Here is a picture.

I now belong to a group that is doing a SAL on Bluebell by Nora Corbett so I started her yesterday not enough to show any of it yet, hopefully tomorrow.  I also am in another group to help get WIPs done, so I have been rounding all my projects that are WIP as of 1/1/13 and am going to work them into a rotation with Bluebell and a couple others.  The other thing I am going to start it a pair of birds I got from Chatelaine.  Vicki and I are going to do them, I do the first, here the second release, back and forth.  When done we will put them together and make a quilt or wall hanging, not sure which.  I signed up for the Chatelaine Dragonfly Mandala, but I wont be starting it anytime soon, but it was just too pretty to pass up.  My stitching is slower these days but I hope to get to work now..
